Benedikte has grown up on Inderøya in Trøndelag with a close connection to nature. She is very versatile, this comes to show in her interests. The main ones involve climbing, camping, music and photography. In the last couple of years she has grown extra fond of Møre, and in particularly Romsdalen. Here she has thrived on land as well as water using skis, boots, climbing shoes and kayak.  

Benedikte is a trained guide at Volda University College and has studied pedagogy. The previous year has been spent at Hotel Aak in Åndalsnes, working with anything involving day-to-day tasks and guiding guests on Romsdalseggen, kayaking on the Rauma river and biking up Trollstigen.
