Petter was hired by Norrøna Hvitserk as a full-time guide in 2020. He holds a bachelor's degree in Outdoor Life and Nature Guiding from Volda University College and is a certified ski guide through NORTIND (Norwegian Mountain Guides). This also includes NF approval as a glacier and avalanche instructor. Petter is also an approved kayak instructor through NPF (Norwegian Canoe Association), and has taken Level 1 as a bicycle guide/instructor through NMIG (Norwegian MTB Instructor and Guide certification).

A versatile and knowledgeable guide with long experience both with ski touring and free skiing (he has even been a professional one). In addition, Petter has good experience with kayaking, trail biking, climbing & mountaineering in all seasons of the year, as well as glacier tours and hiking. Petter guides many of our ski touring trips and courses, as well as packrafting, kayaking, hiking and biking. He stays mostly in Norway and Svalbard, but it is also not unlikely that he takes a trip abroad every now and then. When he is not out guiding, he is planning and arranging his trips, or in his spare time going out in nature to improve his skills even furter. Petter is also a steady hobby photographer, and it is not uncommon for great photos to be added to our database.
