Ida Eri Sørbye
Her sense of adventure has brought her to many corners of the world, from studies on Canada's west coast to travels in the rainforest of Peru, to the steppes of Mongolia, the top of Elbrus, the south coast of Greenland, and also across Greenland this spring.
Ida is a trained journalist, which has made it possible to live out both an interest in the outdoors and a desire for adventure. She has worked writing about travel and nature in the outdoor magazine UTE and has been an excavation journalist in Nigeria. She thrives best on long trips with a sled in winter, or with a backpack and tent in summer. The longest trip was by sled through Norway from south to north. She likes to take two weeks off to really find peace in the tent on a trip. She has visited most of the mountain areas in Norway. To be closer to nature, Ida has moved to Oppdal, where you can usually find her with downhill or cross-country skis on her feet.
